NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON, TX
110 PM CST SAT JAN 21 2017

...The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a flood warning
for the following rivers...

  San Bernard River near Sweeny affecting the following counties in Texas...
  Brazoria


For the San Bernard River, at Sweeny, Moderate flooding is occuring and is
expected to continue.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The San Bernard River near Sweeny.
* FROM SUNDAY EVENING TO LATE MONDAY NIGHT...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0100 PM Saturday the stage was 14.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue to rise to
  near 16.1 feet by early Monday morning.the river will fall below flood stage
  by Monday afternoon.
* At 16.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins. Water is over the mid level
  walkway at the Phillips Terminal near Sweeny and tugs can not push barges
  upstream and are unable to dock.
