...A RIVER FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE HILLSBOROUGH RIVER AT
HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK AND CYPRESS CREEK AT WORTHINGTON GARDENS.

.WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN OF 2 TO 5 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL
CAUSE THE HILLSBOROUGH RIVER AT HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK AND CYPRESS
CREEK AT WORTHINGTON GARDENS TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY THE WEEKEND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS...

* FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
* AT 9 PM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS...3.5 FEET
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST
* FLOOD STAGE IS 10 FEET
* THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY THURSDAY EARLY AFTERNOON
  AND CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 11.5 FEET BY FRIDAY EARLY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 11 FEET...HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK IS CLOSED. LOWLAND
  FLOODING OCCURS AT THE MOBILE HOME PARK NEAR BRANCHTON ON STATE ROAD 579.
* IMPACT...AT 8 FEET...SOME STATE PARK OPERATIONS ARE SUSPENDED.
