FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
441 AM EDT TUE MAY 31 2016

.DISCUSSION...THE REMNANTS OF BONNIE WILL MEANDER OFF THE COAST
OF SOUTH CAROLINA TODAY THEN LIFT NORTH TO A POSITION OFF THE
NORTH CAROLINA COAST THROUGH FRIDAY. THIS WILL LEAVE A MOIST
AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS ACROSS THE MIDLANDS AND CSRA WITH A CHANCE
OF MAINLY DIURNAL CONVECTION FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD FOR THE WEEKEND AS
A FRONTAL BOUNDARY LINGERS IN THE AREA.

TRANSPORT WINDS WILL BE NORTH TO NORTHEAST AROUND 10 MPH TODAY
WITH MAX MIXING HEIGHTS 5000 TO 6000 FEET. MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 45 PERCENT WEST TO 60 PERCENT EAST.
