Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Arizona
National Weather Service Flagstaff AZ
241 PM MST Mon Jul 24 2017

+++ Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds +++

+++ 20-foot wind forecast of `light winds` indicates mainly
    terrain driven winds +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

.DISCUSSION...Slightly drier and more stable conditions
will arrive on Tuesday with more typical late morning to early
evening thunderstorms. On Wednesday, the chances for showers and
thunderstorms will continue, but coverage and frequency should
further decrease.

Thursday through Saturday...For Thursday and Friday the coverage and
frequency of showers and storms is expected to remain on the low
side. Slightly drier and warmer conditions near the surface will
enhance the threat for gusty outflow winds. On Saturday, a renewed
push of moisture should spell the return of active monsoon
conditions.
