Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Arizona
National Weather Service Flagstaff AZ
603 AM MST Wed Mar 29 2017

+++ Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds +++

+++ 20-foot wind forecast of `light winds` indicates mainly
    terrain driven winds +++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

.DISCUSSION...For today, breezy northwest to northeast winds are
expected across northern Arizona, along with dry weather and near
normal temperatures. On Thursday, a low pressure system
will bring very strong southwest winds, along with increasing
chances for showers in far northwest Arizona by the evening.
During the afternoon hours, 20 foot winds may exceed 20 mph at
times, with minimum relative humidities dropping into the 11 to
15 percent range below 6000 feet.

Friday through Sunday...Good chances for rain and snow are
forecast on Friday and Saturday, along with a slight chance for
thunderstorms, as the low crosses the district. A weak ridge will
lead to dry weather and warming temperatures on Sunday.
