240 PM MST Sun Feb 25 2018

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 6 PM MST MONDAY...
...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 7 PM CST MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for areas along and south of the
Kansas Nebraska border Monday as warm temperatures combine with
southerly winds gusting to 35 mph to produce critical fire weather
conditions.

We will need to monitor the Thursday through Saturday timeframe
for the possibility of fire weather thresholds being met generally
along and south of the interstate as warm temperatures and low
relative humidity combine with gusty south to southwest winds.
