FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
330 PM CST WED JAN 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...
AFTER SOME LATE NIGHT THROUGH MORNING RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS...
LOOK FOR SLIGHTLY DRIER CONDITIONS TO DEVELOP. ANOTHER CHANCE OF RAIN COMES
ON FRIDAY. LOOK FOR A STRONG FRONT TO PUSH THROUGH THE AREA SATURDAY NIGHT
WITH WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. FIRE
WEATHER WATCHES OR RED FLAG WARNINGS MIGHT BE NEEDED ON SUNDAY DUE TO THE
STRONG WINDS...BUT AT THIS TIME IT LOOKS LIKE RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL NOT
GET LOW ENOUGH.
