Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
425 PM EST Sun Feb 26 2017

...Low RH Continues Into the First Part of the Evening...

.DISCUSSION...High pressure centered across the region will
gradually move east of the area tonight but not before a very dry
rest of the day into the first part of the evening. Relative
humidities are in the 20 to 25 percent range currently today, but
the winds are light. Look for humidity levels to climb back into
the 30 and 40 percent range quickly after sunset as temperatures
fall. An upper disturbance will bring a threat for some showers
late tonight into Monday morning, with the best chances seen over
western parts of the area. Unsettled weather is then expected
through midweek. The best chances for a more widespread and
substantial rain will come Tuesday into Wednesday evening when
total rainfall for that period could reach or exceed one inch.
Severe weather will also be a possibility during this time frame.
