...COLD STORM SYSTEM IMPACTING THE AREA THROUGH MONDAY TONIGHT...

.DISCUSSION...A COLD STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO
IMPACT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...WITH COOL AND WET
CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION. RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW
SHOWERS ARE LIKELY MONDAY AND MONDAY EVENING...MAINLY SOUTH OF
POINT CONCEPTION...WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. SNOW
LEVELS WILL REMAIN BETWEEN 4000 AND 5000 FEET. RAINFALL
INTENSITIES WILL BE HIGHLY VARIABLE DUE TO THE CHANCES OF
THUNDERSTORMS...HOWEVER BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL AND SMALL HAIL IS
POSSIBLE WITHIN THUNDERSTORMS...WITH RAINFALL RATES AS MUCH AS A
HALF INCH PER HOUR POSSIBLE. MUD AND DEBRIS FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE IN
RECENT BURN AREAS WHEN RAINFALL RATES OF THIS INTENSITY OCCUR. THE
SYSTEM WILL EXIT THE AREA LATE MONDAY NIGHT TO BRING DRIER
CONDITIONS ON TUESDAY. WARMING AND DRYING AND LIGHT OFFSHORE FLOW
