Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
325 PM CDT Fri Apr 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A warm front will become stalled across Southern Missouri this
evening. As a result, the threat for a shower or storm will
occur across the northern half of the Midsouth.

The front will begin to lift further north tomorrow...but as a
disturbance moves across the Ozarks afternoon showers and storms
may reform west of the Mississippi River...of which some may
be severe. Gusty south winds will be surge temperatures into the
mid and upper 80s leading to heat indicies in the 90s.

A cold front will begin to approach the Mid-South from the west
late Saturday night. As a result, chances for showers and
thunderstorms will increase over the region...becoming
widespread on Sunday. Some storms may be severe along the front.

High pressure will begin to build into the region for the
beginning of next week bringing drier and cooler conditions to
the area.
