FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN
448 AM CDT WED AUG 31 2016

.DISCUSSION...
UPPER HIGH OVER THE MID SOUTH WILL BEGIN TO WEAKEN AS AN UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH AXIS DEVELOPS UPSTREAM. THIS FEATURE WILL MOVE OUR WAY AND
DRAG A COLD FRONT THROUGH THE AREA EARLY THURSDAY. AT THE SAME
TIME...A TROPICAL SYSTEM WILL MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS THE EASTERN
GULF. THIS SYSTEM WILL STAY WELL EAST OF THE AREA AND WILL ACT TO
STEAL SOME OF THE MOISTURE THAT WOULD OTHERWISE INTERACT WITH THE
APPROACHING BOUNDARY. THUS...LOOK FOR LOW CONVECTION CHANCES THROUGH
THURSDAY. AFTER THAT...A DRY AND NOT SO HOT EXTENDED PERIOD IS IN
STORE.
