Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
210 PM PDT Tue Apr 25 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Another front will bring increasing rain
to the area this afternoon that will linger through early Wednesday.
Onshore flow will maintain showers Wednesday and Thursday before
drier weather returns late Friday and Saturday. Another storm system
will bring a chance of rain Saturday night or Sunday.

.DISCUSSION...Another front will bring increasing rain to the area
this afternoon that will linger through early Wednesday. A strong jet
for late April will maintain a cool and showery weather pattern
Wednesday afternoon through at least Thursday...if not even Friday
afternoon. Building high pressure over the Pacific Northwest Friday
night and Saturday should dry out the area and turn winds more
northerly and reminiscent of a summer-like wind pattern. The next
frontal storm system looks on tap for Saturday night or Sunday, but
there remains a lot of uncertainty if it will be that wet.
