Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
604 AM CST Sun Nov 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Light northerly 20-foot winds of this morning will become
slightly breezy mid-late morning /10-15 mph/ before declining to
below 10 mph by late afternoon. By sunset, light and variable /and
even calm/ conditions will occur, and thereafter winds returning
to a southerly flow tomorrow with speeds of less than 10 mph is
expected. Due to yesterday`s cold frontal passage, daytime
temperatures will be several degrees below normal today and again
tomorrow, with relative humidity values dropping to around 30
percent given drier air entrainment. Although humidities will be
relatively low, 20-foot winds will remain below critical
thresholds, coupled with below normal temperatures will give way
to low fire weather concerns.
