HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING IN FROM THE DESERT SW WILL CONTINUE TO
PROVIDE HOT TEMPERATURES INLAND AND SEASONAL TEMPERATURES ALONG
THE COAST. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHING FROM THE SW WILL
BRING INCREASING CLOUDS INLAND AND LIFT THE MARINE LAYER ALONG THE
COAST TODAY. WHILE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE EASTERN
FIRE WEATHER ZONES...THE COASTAL ZONES SHOULD REMAIN DRY WITH ONLY
A PASSING SPRINKLE POSSIBLE TODAY.

A BROAD UPPER TROUGH OVER THE NE PACIFIC WILL BRING A THREAT OF
THUNDERSTORMS OVER INTERIOR MOUNTAINS NEARLY EACH AFTERNOON AND
EVENING THROUGH THE WEEK BEGINNING TODAY. HOT TEMPERATURES AND
LOW RH WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE INTERIOR FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE
WEEK WHILE LOW CLOUDS PLAGUE THE COAST.
