GUSTY SANTA ANA WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS, FOOTHILLS AND THE INLAND
EMPIRE THROUGH TUESDAY, STRONGEST IN SAN BERNARDINO, RIVERSIDE,  AND
ORANGE COUNTIES. WINDS WILL RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OF
30-40 MPH WITH PEAK GUSTS OF 45 MPH. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL
BE 10 TO 15 PERCENT WITH SEVERAL HOURS OF NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THESE AREAS, MAINLY NORTH OF SAN DIEGO  COUNTY. THE
WINDS WILL EASE ON WEDNESDAY WITH SOME RECOVERY IN  RELATIVE
HUMIDITY, BUT DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE WELL  ABOVE NORMAL
THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK.

A LARGE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ALOFT WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE
DESERT SOUTHWEST RESULTING IN DRY CONDITIONS ALONG WITH WELL  BELOW
SEASONAL NORMAL TEMPERATURES THROUGH TUESDAY. MINIMUM RH  VALUES
OVER THE DESERTS WILL BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS BOTH DAYS UNDER MOSTLY
CLEAR SKIES. EXPECT BREEZY NORTHERLY WINDS TODAY  ACROSS THE WESTERN
DESERTS INCLUDING FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA  WITH SOME GUSTS OVER
30 MPH WITH LESS WIND IN SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA. MUCH LIGHTER WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED ON TUESDAY.
