INTO TONIGHT WITH SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS TODAY DECREASING
TONIGHT. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE TODAY. THERE COULD
BE A FEW SHOWERS LINGERING OVER SOME MOUNTAIN AREAS TUESDAY AS THE
SYSTEM MOVES EAST. DRY AND COOL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY
THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND WITH AREAS OF STRONG WINDS FRIDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL BRING HEAVY RAIN...HEAVY MOUNTAIN SNOW...
AND STRONG DAMAGING WINDS FOR LATE THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING
WITH SHOWERS CONTINUING AT TIMES THROUGH TUESDAY. WARMER AND DRY
WEATHER WILL FOLLOW FOR WEDNESDAY INTO NEXT WEEKEND WITH PERIODS OF
OFFSHORE FLOW AND GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS LATE IN THE WEEK.

A WET AND COLD PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE EAST AND ACROSS THE
AREA TODAY INTO TONIGHT BRINGING WIDESPREAD SHOWERS ALONG WITH
HIGHER ELEVATIONS SNOW. HIGHLY ELEVATED HUMIDITY AND COOLER THAN
NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL FOLLOW WITH ADDITIONAL COOLING ON TUESDAY
AS CENTRAL DESERT HIGHS FALL INTO THE LOW TO MID 50S. CLEARING FROM
THE WEST WILL OCCUR TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY AND BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON
THERE WILL BE JUST A FEW LINGERING HIGHER ELEVATIONS SHOWERS EAST OF
PHOENIX. GUSTY WEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TODAY ESPECIALLY OVER
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA WHERE PEAK GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. MUCH
LESS WIND IS EXPECTED TUESDAY.
