...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE INYO FOREST AND DEATH VALLEY
WILL DIMINISH LATE THIS EVENING. THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT WILL BE
MORE ISOLATED OVER THE SOUTHERN SIERRA UNDER A DRIER AND MORE STABLE
WESTERLY FLOW ALOFT THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. ANOTHER PUSH OF MOISTURE IS
EXPECTED TO SPREAD UP ACROSS THE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND FOR AN
UPSWING IN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

ALTHOUGH THE BEST AREA OF MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY IS STILL TO OUR
NORTH AND WEST THIS AFTERNOON...THERE IS A CHANCE OF A STRAY
THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPING OVER THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS BEFORE SUNSET. OTHERWISE...DRIER WEATHER WILL PREVAIL
THROUGH THURSDAY...WITH ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES FOR INLAND
AREAS. FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...MONSOON MOISTURE MAY
RETURN...WITH A RENEWED CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING
THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS. DRIER WEATHER
WILL RETURN EARLY NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHWEST WILL KEEP ONLY SLIGHT
CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE FORECAST THROUGH THURSDAY. THESE
WILL BE MAINLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA.
OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARM WITH READINGS IN THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS RANGING FROM THE LOWER 80S TO AROUND 90 DEGREES. THURSDAY
WILL BE ANOTHER HOT DAY WITH HIGHS RISING ABOVE 110 DEGREES AT MANY
LOCATIONS. GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERY OF HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED..WITH
VALUES INCREASING TO 30 TO 45 PERCENT BY MORNING. READINGS WILL DROP
BACK INTO THE MID TEENS BY AFTERNOON. WINDS WILL BE LIGHT AND
VARIABLE THIS EVENING...INCREASING OUT OF THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST BY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
