A mainly dry upper level trough near the Four Corners will drop
southeast through New Mexico today. Colder air will filter in
behind the associated backdoor cold front this afternoon and
evening. Winds will become easterly in the next hour or two,
continuing through mid afternoon. Light and variable winds are
expected until late Friday morning when brisk northwest winds
will develop.
