.DISCUSSION...Fairly unstable again today, but stabilizing overnight
as the thermal trough moves south, nudged by a weak weather front
coming in from the northwest.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Areas of smoke
                    through the day. Scattered showers in the
                    morning. Isolated thunderstorms through the
                    day. Numerous showers in the afternoon.

Wind (20 ft)........Southwest winds 5 to 14 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph
                    in the afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds
