.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers over central New York this morning are
decreasing in areal coverage as they move east and thus the threat
for any showers across the fire area will be low. If it occurs it
would be before Noon but precipitation amounts would likely be
only a couple hundreths at best. Humidity recoveries were actually
only fair this morning...so drier conditions are expected for this
afternoon once the westerly winds begin to increase. Afternoon
relative humidities will lower to around 30 percent by the end of
the burn period. Note the winds may gust in the 15 to 25 mph
range toward the end of the burn period with smoke generally
moving off to the east.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (50-60 percent). A slight chance
                    of showers until midday.
Chance of pcpn......20 percent.
Begin/end of pcpn...Begin around 10 AM and end around Noon.
Max temperature.....Around 72.
Min humidity........30 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........West winds increasing to 8 to 12 mph in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 25 mph late in the day.
