A STATIONARY FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO DISSIPATE OVER THE AREA
THROUGH TONIGHT. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE
NORTHWEST TUESDAY AND PUSH THROUGH THE REGION LATE WEDNESDAY.
IN ADVANCE OF THE COLD FRONT ON TUESDAY GIVEN ABUNDANT MOISTURE
AND LIMITED MOVEMENT TO THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN MAY OCCUR IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LIGHTNING STRIKES
AND PERHAPS GUSTY WINDS CAN ALSO OCCUR. THE RIP CURRENT RISK IS
LOW...BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT EVEN SO RIP CURRENTS CAN STILL OCCUR.
IF OPERATIONS GO INTO THE EVENING THERE COULD BE SMALL SWELLS ARRIVING
FROM DISTANT HURRICANE EDOUARD AND THE RIP CURRENT RISK MAY BECOME
ELEVATED.
