.DISCUSSION...
A frontal boundary will edge toward the area from the west this
afternoon, then slowly cross the area tonight through Wednesday
evening. Moisture will gradually increase as the front nears the
area, so afternoon humidities today are not expected to be quite
as low as those experienced Monday afternoon. Still some locations
may see relative humidity drop to the 25 to 30 range over the
Northeast Wisconsin sand regions prior to surface dewpoints begin
to increase. The lowest humidity is likely to occur early afternoon.

Showers will spread across the area as the front approaches. The
exact timing of when that will occur is somewhat unclear. They
will probably begin arriving in central and north-central
Wisconsin sometime later this afternoon, then reach the east tonight.
Once they arrive, periods of showers will persist into Thursday.
Temperatures will also settle back closer to seasonal normals.

This rain producing front is likely to be the first in a series
that will affect the area over the next 7 days. Precipitation
amounts for the next week are likely to end up well above normal.

700 am observed Haines Index at Green Bay...5 or moderate.
