.DISCUSSION...An area of low pressure over northern California
will produce strong southwest winds across the region through
tonight with wind speeds lessening on Wednesday as the direction
takes on a more westerly component. Already seeing wind gusts
in excess of 40 mph this morning at the Kyle Canyon RAWS.
Would expect strongest winds just below the opening of Kyle Canyon
but can`t rule out higher winds surfacing along exposed slopes and
ridges along Deer Creek Highway. Plenty of high clouds will be streaming
overhead during the period.
