Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.50 inches, will continue to shift
east across the Upper Peninsula today, before slowly exiting the
region tonight. A second low pressure system, 29.70 inches, then
moves into the central great lakes on Friday. This will maintain a
stretch of unsettled conditions with thunderstorms possible
throughout the end of the week.

.TODAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Gusts to 25 knots. Mostly
cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots in the late evening and overnight. Mostly cloudy. A chance of
showers and thunderstorms early in the evening...then showers and
thunderstorms likely in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots
in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms
likely. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots diminishing to 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and overnight. Mostly cloudy. Showers
and thunderstorms likely in the evening...then a chance of showers
and thunderstorms after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15
knots in the afternoon...then becoming west 5 to 10 knots in the
evening. Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and
thunderstorms...then partly cloudy late in the evening. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.MONDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet
or less.
