THE FLOOD POTENTIAL FOR THE REST OF THE STATE IS LOW.

...HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION....

THE LAST AFFECTS OF THE ARCTIC LOW AND THE TROUGH THAT EXTENDS DOWN
THROUGH THE CENTRAL MAINLAND AND INTO THE GULF WILL OCCUR ON
TUESDAY. SCATTERED RAIN AND OR SNOW SHOWERS WILL MOVE EAST OVER THE
EASTERN MAINLAND AS THIS FEATURE EXITS THE STATE. MEANWHILE DOWN AT
THE BASE OF THIS TROUGH IS AN OPEN WAVE THAT BRUSHES THE PANHANDLE
WITH SHOWERS OF RAIN INTO WEDNESDAY.

BY WEDNESDAY THE RIDGE THAT FORMS OVER THE WEST QUICKLY PUSHES EAST
WITH A VIGOROUS TROUGH ENTERING THE STATE OVER THE NORTHWEST. RAIN
AND SNOW CROSSES MAINLY THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN MAINLAND THROUGH
THURSDAY.

WEST AND ALASKA PENINSULA.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF
ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION OVER THE Y-K DELTA AND ALASKA PENINSULA.
