THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE AREA TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVING SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA TODAY WILL BRING
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH
TONIGHT. THIS FRONTAL SYSTEM HAS PUSHED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS INTO NORTH GEORGIA THIS MORNING. THIS LINE IS
WEAKENING AS IT MOVES SOUTH BUT IT IS EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP OVER
CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON. AS TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO RISE
WITH DAYTIME HEATING THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BECOME MORE UNSTABLE
ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA. CAPES ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA WILL GET INTO
THE 2000 TO 3000 RANGE WITH LIFTED INDICES AROUND -5 TO -7.
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON ALONG AND
SOUTH OF A LAGRANGE TO AUGUSTA LINE. THE GREATEST THREATS WITH
ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...
A DRIER AIRMASS MOVES INTO THE REGION BEHIND THE FRONTAL SYSTEM AND
WILL KEEP NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA PRECIPITATION FREE TUESDAY ND
WEDNESDAY. MOISTURE BEGINS TO INCREASE AGAIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH
PRECIPITATION CHANCES INCREASING THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. SHOULD
SEE THUNDERSTORMS CHANCES INCREASE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS A FEW
SHORT WAVES TRAVERSE THE AREA

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT REQUESTED BUT SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO
SUBMIT REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER THROUGH THE WEB BY GOING TO
