This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast New
Mexico, southwest Texas and western Texas.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A few thunderstorms are possible through tonight across the area. A
storm or two could be severe, but most of the stronger storms will be
capable of gusty winds of 50 to 55 mph, locally heavy rainfall and
frequent cloud to ground lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

Thunderstorm chances will be increasing late Friday into early next
week. Brief heavy rain and gusty winds will be the main threats.
