This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Near critical fire weather conditions will affect west central
Texas this afternoon as very warm temperatures combine with gusty
southwest winds and a very dry air mass.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

There is a chance for thunderstorms from late Friday afternoon
through Saturday night. A few storms may approach severe levels
Friday evening, mainly north and east of a Sweetwater to
Brownwood line, and again Saturday night, mainly east of an
Abilene to Junction line.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
