SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
AROUND MIDDAY MONDAY. WINDS OF 25 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 40 MPH
ARE EXPECTED...AND WILL DIMINISH LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE REGION MONDAY NIGHT.
THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING SOME LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS TO PORTIONS OF
THE AREA...ALONG WITH STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH GUSTING
NEAR 50 MPH. SNOW TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 90...WITH LESSER AMOUNTS FARTHER NORTH BY
TUESDAY EVENING. SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE. THE
COMBINATION OF SNOW AND WIND MAY LEAD TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ON TUESDAY.
