A MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
COASTAL WATERS FROM SEBASTIAN INLET TO JUPITER INLET OUT 20 NM...

AT 312 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED OVER INDIAN RIVER ESTATES...OR OVER SAINT LUCIE NUCLEAR
POWER PLANT...MOVING SOUTH AT 15 KNOTS. OTHER STRONG STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO FORM NEAR THE COAST SOUTHWARD TO ST LUCIE INLET AND
JUPITER INLET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...
AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A SPECIAL MARINE
WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED AS THIS STORM MOVES DOWN THE
COAST. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE BEFORE THE STORM
ARRIVES.
