...GUSTY WINDS AND HIGH WAVES DEVELOPING THURSDAY...

.AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE PASSING TO THE SOUTHEAST ON THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY WILL CREATE PERSISTENT AND GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS OVER LAKE
MICHIGAN AND THE BAY OF GREEN BAY. WINDS INCREASE THURSDAY
MORNING AND WILL CREATE HIGH WAVES STARTING THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST ON FRIDAY OVER THE LAKE AND
DIMINISH EARLIER ON FRIDAY FOR THE BAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THURSDAY TO 11 AM
CDT FRIDAY.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 KNOTS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH A FEW
HIGHER GUSTS UP TO 30 KNOTS POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT.

* WAVES...2 TO 4 FEET BUILDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET BY THURSDAY NIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OVER 20 KNOTS OR
WAVES GREATER THAN 4 FEET ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.  INEXPERIENCED MARINERS, ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
