...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST WEDNESDAY.

* VISIBILITY...SEA FOG WILL FREQUENTLY REDUCE VISIBILITY ACROSS
THE AREA WATERS TO LESS THAN 1 NM. IN ADDITION...THE SEA FOG MAY
BECOME DENSE ENOUGH TO FURTHER REDUCE VISIBILITY TO NEAR ZERO NM
  AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...THE LOW VISIBILITY WILL MAKE FOR TREACHEROUS
NAVIGATING CONDITIONS ACROSS THE LOCAL WATERS...ESPECIALLY WHEN
BOATING ALONG THE INTRA-COASTAL WATERWAY AND AREA INLETS TO AND
FROM THE OPEN WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC.

THE USE OF COAST GUARDS AIDS TO NAVIGATION...DEPTH
FINDERS...GPS...AND SPOT LIGHTS ARE A FEW OF THE AVAILABLE
INSTRUMENTS TO AID YOU IN TRAVERSING THESE WATERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY OVER THE AREA WATERS MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL
FREQUENTLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE. INEXPERIENCED
MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD
AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
