.A FAST-MOVING COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO REACH KAUAI LATE THIS
AFTERNOON...THEN SWEEP ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE STATE TONIGHT
INTO SUNDAY MORNING. GUSTY NORTH WINDS WILL DEVELOP BEHIND THE
FRONT...WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS LIKELY TO OCCUR OVER AND DOWNWIND
OF HIGHER TERRAIN. A WIND ADVISORY GOES INTO EFFECT ON KAUAI LATE
THIS AFTERNOON AND ON OAHU LATE THIS EVENING. A HIGH WIND WARNING
HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FOR THE HIGH SUMMITS OF THE BIG ISLAND.

* TIMING...INCREASING DURING THE EVENING...BUILDING TO WARNING
  LEVELS AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS INCREASING TO 65 MPH OR GREATER AFTER
  MIDNIGHT AND SHIFTING OUT OF THE NORTHWEST ON SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL TO THE SUMMITS WILL BE DANGEROUS...AND DAMAGE
  TO DOORS IS POSSIBLE WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING FOR THE SUMMITS MEANS THAT WINDS ARE EXPECTED
TO BE GREATER THAN 55 MPH...WITH GUSTS OVER 65 MPH. TRAVEL TO THE
