...Gusty northwest to north winds across southern Santa Barbara
county through tonight...

.A tight surface pressure gradient will generate gusty northwest
to north winds below and through the passes and canyons of
southern Santa Barbara county through tonight, especially from
Gaviota to Goleta. This will begin an extended period of gusty
northwest to north winds that will impact Santa Barbara county,
likely becoming stronger and more widespread during the next
several days.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM PDT SUNDAY...

* WINDS...Areas of northwest to north winds 15 to 30 mph with
  gusts between 40 and 50 mph. The strongest winds will be below
  and through the passes and canyons from Gaviota to Goleta.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles. This includes Highways 101, 154 and
  192, as well as the Gaviota and San Marcos Passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

When driving, use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.
