...HIGH FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM
GAINESVILLE TO CLEBURNE TO LAMPASAS DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES IN THE 20S...

SOUTHERLY SURFACE WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20-25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP
TO 35 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE...TRANSPORT LEVEL
WINDS WILL BE SUSTAINED NEAR 35-40 MPH. TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE
NORMAL AND AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL
INTO THE 20S IN THE HIGHLIGHTED AREA. CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE BY
SUNSET AS THE WIND SPEEDS DECREASE.

EXTREME CARE IS URGED DURING ALL OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES WHERE THERE
IS A POTENTIAL FOR GRASS FIRES TO GET STARTED. AVOID OUTSIDE
BURNING AND WELDING. DO NOT TOSS LIT CIGARETTE BUTTS OUTSIDE.
REPORT WILD FIRES TO THE NEAREST FIRE DEPARTMENT OR LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICE QUICKLY.
