...BREEZY AND UNSTABLE WITH HAINES OF 5 THIS MORNING. LOW
HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

.BREEZY NORTHWEST WINDS THIS MORNING COMBINED WITH UNSTABLE
CONDITIONS IS RESULTING IN ACTIVE FIRE BEHAVIOR WITH ONGOING
INCIDENTS. HAINES WILL DECREASE NEAR 2 THIS EVENING HOWEVER
HUMIDITY LEVELS WILL FALL BACK INTO THE TEENS WHILE WINDS PICK
UP FROM THE NORTHWEST. FOR ZONE 673...THIS ONLY IMPACTS THE
WATERVILLE PLATEAU AND ADJACENT AREAS OF GRANT COUNTY MAINLY
WEST OF MOSES LAKE.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR CENTRAL CASCADE VALLEYS AND
WATERVILLE PLATEAU...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity...which is in effect
until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* Affected Area: Western Fire Weather Zone 673 East Washington
  Northern Columbia Basin (Zone 673) and Fire Weather Zone 677
  East Washington Central Cascade Valleys (Zone 677).

* Winds: Northwest 8 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph this morning
  and afternoon. Increasing northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up
  to 30 mph after 1500 pdt.

* Haines: Near 5 this morning decreasing to 2 by the evening.

* Relative Humidities: 15 to 20 percent.

* Impacts: Any ongoing or new fires will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
