DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1041 AM EDT TUE MAY 26 2015

...All river forecast points will remain well below flood stage...

Surface high pressure centered off the coast of the Carolinas will
direct an onshore flow across area river basins through midweek.
A moist southerly low-level flow...combined with atmospheric
instability from afternoon heating and possible shortwave energy...
will produce isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms each
day through Thursday. This activity will favor the Piedmont...
northwest Midlands and the northwest CSRA this afternoon and
evening. The activity will then shift farther east Wednesday through
Thursday.

Rainfall amounts will continue to be light...in the absense of
well-organized convection. Therefore...only minor fluctuations in
river levels are expected from dam releases for hydroelectric power
generation.
