DURING THE MORNING HOURS THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA
REGION SAW A FEW PERIODS OF SNOW FLURRIES UNDER VARIOUS AMOUNTS OF
SUN AND CLOUDS. TEMPERATURES BY LATE MORNING WERE IN THE MID 20S TO
LOWER 30S.

THE REGION WILL CONTINUE TO SEE A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS THIS
AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES TOP OUT IN THE MID TO UPPER 30S.
MEANWHILE...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE HIGH PLAINS WILL PUSH A
WARM FRONT THROUGH OUR REGION TONIGHT AND SATURDAY. THIS MAY CAUSE A
FEW AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW OR FREEZING RAIN THIS EVENING ALONG THE
WISCONSIN BORDER...WHILE THE REST OF THE REGION REMAINS PARTLY
CLOUDY. THEN ON SATURDAY...UNDER PARTLY SUNNY SKIES AND WITH GUSTY
SOUTHERLY WINDS...HIGHS WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 40S NORTH...TO
THE LOW TO MID 50S SOUTH. THEN ON SUNDAY...HIGHS WILL BE IN THE MID
TO UPPER 40S NORTH...TO UPPER 50S SOUTH BEFORE FALLING DURING THE
AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL RESULT
IN MUCH COLDER HIGHS FOR MONDAY.
