...STRONG OUTFLOW WINDS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND...

COLD ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE MOVING INTO THE SOUTHERN YUKON WILL
CAUSE STRONG NORTHERLY OUTFLOW WINDS SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. GUSTS
IN EXCESS OF 45 TO 55 MPH ARE EXPECTED NEAR INTERIOR PASSES LIKE
LYNN CANAL...TAKU INLET...DISENCHANTMENT BAY...THE PASSES EAST OF
YAKUTAT AND THE STIKINE RIVER VALLEY. A MOUNTAIN WAVE WIND EVENT
IS ALSO EXPECTED FOR DOWNTOWN JUNEAU AND DOUGLAS THIS WEEKEND WITH
GUSTS INCREASING THROUGHOUT THE DAY SATURDAY AND PEAKING AROUND 50
TO 55 MPH SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY.

IMPACTS. EXPECT SOME FLYING DEBRIS AND SEA SPRAY IN HIGHER GUSTS.
WIND MAY ALSO CAUSE TREE BRANCHES TO FALL ONTO POWER LINES
DISRUPTING POWER.
