...DENSE FOG IMPACTING SOUTH PADRE ISLAND...

DENSE FOG WILL PERSIST ON SOUTH PADRE ISLAND FOR THE NEXT COUPLE
OF HOURS...THROUGH NOON. VISIBILITY OF ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OR
LESS IS EXPECTED. THE FOG DEVELOPED OVERNIGHT AND HAS BEEN SLOW
TO LIFT. SLIGHTLY STRONGER WINDS THIS AFTERNOON WILL HELP MIX THE
FOG OUT AND IMPROVE VISIBILITY...BUT SOME FOG MAY STILL PERSIST
THROUGH THE DAY.

RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY MAY OCCUR ON AREA ROADS AND HIGHWAYS.
DENSE FOG WILL MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS DIFFICULT. MOTORISTS SHOULD
SLOW DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE
BETWEEN VEHICLES.
