...A SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT LIVINGSTON AND OAKLAND COUNTIES
through 530 pm est...

At 426 PM EST, the leading edge of a snow squall was located near
Hartland, moving east at 20 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Troy, Southfield, Pontiac, Novi, Hartland, Howell, Brighton, Milford,
Holly, Oxford, Fowlerville, Pinckney, Royal Oak, Hamburg, Birmingham,
South Lyon, Oak Grove, West Bloomfield, Clarkston and Gregory.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this squall. Snow will quickly accumulate up to a half inch. Expect
roads to become snow covered and icy quickly...especially now that
sunset is approaching. Highways M 59 and interstate 96 will be
affected by this squall.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangerous
snow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and slick roads are likely
to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the squall
passes your location.
