...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN MORGAN...
SOUTHEASTERN BATH...NORTHEASTERN MENIFEE...ROWAN AND ELLIOTT
COUNTIES...

At 609 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Big Woods, or 8
miles east of Frenchburg, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Sandy Hook, Frenchburg, Marshall, Wellington, Salt Lick,
Zag, Ramey, Fannin Valley, Elliottville, Olympia Springs, Yale,
Triplett, Christy, Omer, Hilda, Bangor, Ratlitt, Zilpo and Wrigley.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern
and east central Kentucky.
