...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM SATURDAY TO 7 PM CDT
SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Winter
Storm Warning...which is in effect from 7 AM Saturday to 7 PM CDT
Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

* Timing...Saturday through Sunday.

* Precip Type...Expect snow to develop by 7 AM Saturday and
  diminish around 12 PM Sunday.

* Accumulations...Snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches are
  expected, with the potential for higher amounts.

* Impacts...The potential exists for very difficult to impossible
  driving conditions due to reduction in visibility along with
  slick roadways. North winds 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts will
  cause drifting of snow and reduced visibilities. Power outages
  may occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet...and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible.  This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

  expected.

  driving conditions due to reduction in visibility along with
  slick roadways. North winds of 25 to 35 MPH with higher gusts
  will cause drifting of snow and reduced visibilities. Power
  outages may occur.

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Winter
Storm Watch...which is in effect from Saturday morning through
Sunday evening.

* Timing...Saturday through Sunday.

* Precip Type...Expect snow to develop around 7 PM Saturday and
  diminish around 3 PM Sunday.

* Accumulations...Snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches are
  expected, with the potential for higher amounts.

* Impacts...The potential exists for very difficult to impossible
  driving conditions due to reduction in visibility along with
  slick roadways. Strong north winds of 20 to 30 mph with higher
  gusts will cause drifting of snow along with reduced
  visibilities. Power outages may occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
