AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT IN THE EASTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
AND NORTHERN SANDHILLS. IN ADDITION...SNOW IS EXPECTED IN CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA FRIDAY AND FRIDAY EVENING AS A SECOND
SYSTEM CROSSES THE PLAINS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM CST /8 AM
MST/ FRIDAY TO MIDNIGHT CST /11 PM MST/ FRIDAY NIGHT.

* TIMING...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL DEVELOP IN SOUTHWEST
  NEBRASKA FRIDAY MORNING AND SPREAD INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA FRIDAY
  AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* WIND...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW WILL BEGIN ACCUMULATING BY LATE FRIDAY MORNING
  AND CONTINUE INTO LATE FRIDAY EVENING. SNOW IS LIKELY TO BE
  POWDERY AND MODERATE WIND MAY CAUSE DRIFTING. VISIBILITY IS
  LIKELY TO BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN 1/2 MILE AT TIMES. THE
  GREATEST ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE IN GARFIELD...WHEELER AND
  CUSTER COUNTIES IN CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND IN FRONTIER COUNTY AND

* TIMING...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SHERIDAN
  AND WESTERN CHERRY COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD SOUTH AND
  EAST TONIGHT. LIGHT SNOW WILL COME TO AN END FRIDAY MORNING IN
  THE WESTERN SANDHILLS AND EASTERN PANHANDLE.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  ACROSS NORTHERN SHERIDAN COUNTY AND NORTHWEST CHERRY COUNTY.

* WIND...NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH IN OPEN AREAS.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED THIS AFTERNOON AND THROUGH
  TONIGHT WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AS WIND INCREASES. VISIBILITY
  WILL FALL TO 1/2 MILE IN MODERATE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
