THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

* AFFECTED AREA...THE WASATCH AND WESTERN UINTA MOUNTAINS OF
  NORTHERN UTAH

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...18 TO 36 INCHES THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON,
  WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP THURSDAY AFTERNOON, CONTINUE HEAVY AT
  TIMES THROUGH FRIDAY AND INTO THE DAY SATURDAY BEFORE TAPERING
  OFF.

* WINDS...WESTERLY WINDS GUSTING IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AT TIMES
  ALONG THE RIDGELINES THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY.

* IMPACTS...WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS ALL
  MOUNTAIN ROUTES BEGINNING THURSDAY AFTERNOON, AND CONTINUING
  THROUGH SATURDAY. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATES 80 AND 84.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
