            AREA BEGINNING AROUND 210 PM SEP 8TH. STATE ROUTE 168 WAS
            DAMAGED AND CLOSED FOR ABOUT 10 HOURS BETWEEN MOAPA AND
            COYOTE SPRINGS. AT LEAST 160 STUDENTS HAD TO SHELTER IN
            PLACE AT THEIR SCHOOLS UNTIL ABOUT 7 PM THAT EVENING.

            DAYS. MANY CARS WERE SURROUNDED BY FLOOD WATERS AND ONE
            MINIVAN WAS CARRIED OFF A 10-15 FT DROP INTO THE WASH
            BELOW WITH TWO OCCUPANTS WHO EVENTUALLY MADE IT OUT
            SAFELY. A BYSTANDER SUFFERED A BROKEN ARM WHEN HE JUMPED
