MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HOT TEMPERATURES IN THE 90S TO AROUND 100 DEGREES ALONG AND WEST
OF THE JAMES RIVER TODAY. HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL PEAK FROM 100 TO
105 DEGREES OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA THIS
AFTERNOON.

A FEW WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE REGION. A FEW STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG OVER
CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...WITH HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.
