EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN...AND ADJACENT NEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE
MICHIGAN...LAKE HURON AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

RAIN WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW FROM NORTH TO SOUTH LATE TONIGHT...
WITH SOME LIGHT ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY ACROSS EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

IN ADDITION...THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER MAINLY NORTHERN
LOWER MICHIGAN TONIGHT. SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

...FIRST ACCUMULATING SNOW OF THE SEASON EXPECTED FRIDAY...

A QUICK HITTING BUT STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN
MICHIGAN FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY EVENING...BRINGING THE FOLLOWING
IMPACTS:

SNOW: A PERIOD OF ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED FRIDAY MORNING...
PARTICULARLY ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS OF NORTHERN LOWER
MICHIGAN. ROADS MAY BRIEFLY BECOME SNOW COVERED IN THESE AREAS
DURING A PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOW.

WINDS: STRONG NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL OCCUR FRIDAY MORNING
THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED OVER
LAND...HIGHEST NEAR THE LAKE SHORES...WITH GALES EXPECTED ACROSS
A LARGE PORTION OF THE LAKE MICHIGAN AND LAKE HURON NEARSHORE
WATERS.

THUNDERSTORMS: THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER NORTHERN LOWER
MICHIGAN FRIDAY MORNING. THESE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE
SEVERE.

IN ADDITION TO THESE IMPACTS...CONDITIONS DURING TRICK OR TREAT
TIME HALLOWEEN EVENING WILL BE COLD...WITH WIND CHILL VALUES OF 18
TO 25 DEGREES AND WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 30 MPH.
