...ELEVATED RISK FOR WILDFIRES CONTINUES LATE THIS AFTERNOON...

THE COMBINATION OF STRONG SOUTH WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
HAS RESULTED IN AN ELEVATED RISK FOR WILDFIRES LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. LOOK FOR SOUTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH
WITH GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON...WITH
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES IN THE 20 TO 30 PERCENT RANGE. WILDFIRES
COULD START EASILY AND SPREAD QUICKLY THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.
AVOID ALL OUTDOOR BURNING TODAY.

CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE DURING THE EVENING AS WINDS DIMINISH...
MOISTURE INCREASES AND SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVE IN LATE.
