Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
622 PM MDT Thu Mar 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Friday...Fire weather concerns will
lessen tonight as a strong storm system moves south over the
plains. While windy conditions will continue, relative humidity
values will increase. Rain and snow showers will occur this
evening and continue into Friday.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday night through Tuesday...Warmer and
drier weather is expected on Saturday as upper level high pressure
builds over the Rocky Mountain Region. More snow is expected across
the mountains Saturday night into Sunday as an upper level trough of
low pressure moves across the state. A good chance of precipitation
and gusty northerly winds is also expected across the plains on
Sunday behind the passage of a cold front. Drier weather is expected
on Monday...with another chance for precipitation across north
central and northeastern Colorado on Tuesday as the next storm
system moves into the region from the west.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
