HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BILLINGS MT
906 AM MDT WED JUN 8 2016

The Boulder River continues to run high and fast this morning at
6.5 feet. The mountain snowpack that feeds the Boulder River
continues to dwindle with the unseasonably warm temperatures. The
latest forecast keeps the Boulder River below minor flood stage
of 7.0 feet, with a crest of 6.81 feet on Thursday morning. River
levels are expected to slowly fall this weekend.

Though flooding is not expected at this time, those with
interests along the Boulder River should remain alert to river
conditions until runoff flows subside. Those planning recreation
activities along the river should use extra caution and be aware
of the high water hazards and dangers that are present at current
flows.
