.LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL FLARE UP THIS MORNING AND WILL
LIKELY IMPACT THE MORNING COMMUTE ACROSS THE GREATER CLEVELAND
AREA. RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND INTENSITY ARE POSSIBLE.
THE SNOW BANDS MAY AGAIN BECOME MORE NUMEROUS NEAR THE LAKE ERIE
LAKESHORE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY AS WINDS BECOME MORE WESTERLY.

  6 INCHES TONIGHT...AND ANOTHER 2 TO 4 INCHES ON SATURDAY. THIS
  COMBINED WITH SNOW THAT HAS ALREADY FALLEN SINCE YESTERDAY
  SHOULD PRODUCE STORM TOTALS OF 8 TO 15 INCHES.

  ACROSS NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA 2 TO 5 INCHES TODAY...2 TO 5
  INCHES TONIGHT...AND 3 TO 5 INCHES ON SATURDAY. THIS COMBINED
  WITH SNOW THAT HAS ALREADY FALLEN SINCE YESTERDAY SHOULD
  PRODUCE STORM TOTALS OF 10 TO AS HIGH AS 24 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS WILL WOBBLE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY MAINLY
  FOCUSED ON LAKE AND GEAUGA COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST OHIO AND
  ACROSS ERIE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. PERIODS OF SNOW
  SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY AND ARE EXPECTED TO BE HEAVY
  AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND SNOW SQUALLS WILL LEAD TO
  SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND VERY POOR VISIBILITIES
  AT TIMES. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH BECOMING
  NORTHWEST OVERNIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE 20S TODAY. COOLER TONIGHT WITH LOWS IN THE
  TEENS. WIND CHILL VALUES IN THE TEENS TODAY AND POSSIBLY DIPPING
  INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS TONIGHT.

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW
IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. DURING LAKE EFFECT SNOW...THE WEATHER
CAN VARY FROM BANDS OF LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW TO DRY WEATHER JUST A
FEW MILES AWAY. VISIBILITIES CAN VARY GREATLY AND CAN DROP TO
NEAR ZERO IN THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS. IF YOU WILL BE
TRAVELING IN THE WARNED AREA BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN

  POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY NEAR AND NORTH OF CORTLAND.

* TIMING...HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS THIS MORNING ACROSS THE NORTHERN
  HALF OF THE COUNTY WILL CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON BEFORE
  BEGINNING TO TAPER OFF THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND SNOW SQUALLS WILL LEAD TO RAPID
  ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND VERY POOR VISIBILITIES AT TIMES.

  TO SHIFT OUT OF THE COUNTY DURING THE OVERNIGHT.
